If you're not the fastest typer in the word - which I'm not - that you'll really appreciate this program.

This is about the most simple typing tutorial you'll ever use. The program seamlessly integrates with many major programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Notepad, UltraEdit, WordPad, ICQ Messenger, MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. The program is "intelligent" in that it can learns unknown and recently typed words. If you type a word that is not in the dictionary (e.g. your name), the next time you begin to type it the word will be suggested saving you thousands of keystrokes. To make your life even easier, you can define shorthand shortcuts and abbreviations such as "USA", Typing Assistant can auto-expand it to the full text "United States of America". You can define hotkeys that can be used to trigger your most common tasks. Typing Assistant can even expand this shorthand to whole paragraphs which is useful if you have to keep saying the same thing over and over again. One nice little add-on is that the program actually alerts you when you've made a spelling error with a beep.

A very easy to use program that will certainly speed up the productivity of those that can't touchtype.
